Last night, on a delightful Spring evening, I had the pleasure of attending the opening night of Joburg Ballet’s ‘Don Quixote’ at the Joburg Theatre. This performance had been eagerly awaited throughout 2023, and I was looking forward to seeing this much anticipated production. As the curtains drew back, I couldn’t help but wonder if ‘Don Quixote’ would live up to the hype.
